Style and glamour at the Clarenbridge oyster festival raises the bar year on year and the 2011 Galway Now best dressed competition will be the hottest yet!
This year’s fabulous prize includes a Romantic Rendezvous at the luxurious Wineport Lodge, athlone including two nights stay with dinner, afternoon tea for two in Ballinahown Tea Rooms, a piece of jewellery from the Meso collection by Helen Conneely and a craft hamper to the value of €500.
With a total prize value of €2500, the best dressed will definetly be impressed!
A beauty pamper package from Q Beauty Kilcolgan will be awarded for the most creative headpiece and a hanleys menwear prize will be awarded to the best dressed male!

About Tyrell & Brennan
With a long list of celebs and tv personalities having a soft spot for the likeable duo’s designs, and their quintessentially feminine and fresh gowns gracing red carpets from Dublin to Hollywood, Tyrrell & Brennan has become one of the country’s most sought-after designers.
One half of the artful duo, Ahascaragh-native Niall Tyrrell, began his impressive design career from the humble beginings of the RTC in Galway. A one-year foundation course in General Art Studies at the college led him onto complete a fashion degree at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
Tyrrell & Brennan’s most recent accolade was having been commissioned to design the dresses of the director and producer of Oscar-nominated short Irish movie, ‘New Boy’. Niall and Donald are the only Irish designers to have had several of their dresses worn at the Oscars; Enya and her lyricist, Roma Ryan, commissioned pieces when nominated for the best song for the ‘Lord of the Rings’ and when Jim and Kirsten Sheridan were nominated for best screen play for the film ‘In America’, three of the Sheridan girls were wearing Tyrrell & Brennan. Tyrrell & Brennan designs have also appeared at The VIP style awards with Rosanna Davison wearing a Tyrrell & Brennan dress, which was made of almost 40 metres of silk chiffon, and Glenda Gilson a few months later was awarded best dressed at the ‘TV Now’ awards in a Tyrrell & Brennan sequined gown.
